Why has the forecast finish slipped since the baseline?
The independent earned-value forecast moved from 20 Aug 2028 (Update 1) to 12 Apr 2029 (Update 4), about 9 months 20 days behind the plan of record's 22 Jun 2028. Two signals sit underneath it: BEI fell from 0.97 to 0.88 (work is completing slower than planned), and at Update 3 the programme switched to Progress Override, after which concealed slip climbed to 35 working days as activity durations were shaved.

What this dashboard tells you

  • Forecast finish slipped from 20 Aug 2028 to 12 Apr 2029 across four monthly updates — the stored target still says June 2028, but the earned-value trajectory says April 2029, roughly nine and a half months late.
  • The programme switched to Progress Override at Update 3. That P6 setting discards predecessor logic for in-progress activities, so the critical path, float, and forecast can understate real slippage from that point on.
  • Concealed slip climbed to 35 working days. Restoring each activity's duration to the baseline value and recomputing shows the forecast is later than the dates alone admit — slip hidden by shaved durations.
  • BEI fell from 0.97 to 0.88 while DCMA quality held at 9 / 14. The structural quality is steady; the problem is delivery pace and how the slippage is being presented, not schedule hygiene.
